Robert “Earl” King, age 85, of Lake Village died Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at home in Lake Village. Robert was born March 20, 1932 in McArthur, AR. He is the son of the late Smead Pile and the late Johnny Hazel (Bond) King. He served in the Army during the Korean war. He was employed by Marine Gear Inc as a Machinist.
Earl was preceded in death by his grandsons, Brandon Holdcraft and Nick Allgood, first wife, Maycell King, and second wife, Betty Mae Stevens.
He is survived by two daughters: Robin Sivertson of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and Mechele (Tommy) Allgood of Stafford, VA, and one son: Clarence Earl (Jenny) King of Lake Village, AR; one brother: Benny Ray King of Monticello, AR; nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Celebration of life service will be held February 3, 2018 at 10am at Bishop-King Funeral Home chapel in Lake Village with Bro. Scott Ricks and Bro. David Vaughn officiating. Arrangements are by Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village, Arkansas
