Obituary of Jimmy McAlester

Jimmy Ray McAlester, 69, of Eudora, Arkansas passed away July 11, 2017 at Chicot Memorial Medical Center in Lake Village, Arkansas.  Jimmy was born February 19, 1948 to the late Royal Thomas & Leatrice Sebaugh McAlester, who preceded him in death, in Modesto, California.  He lived most of his life in Modesto and Vader, California before coming to Eudora, Arkansas.  Jimmy served in the Army and was a member of Shelton Pentecostal Church in Shelton, Washington. 

Jimmy is survived by his wife Sherry Brown McAlester, two sons; Clayton & Johnathan McAlester, three daughters; Tonya McAlester, Julie Chastin, and Andrea Griffin, a step-son, Eddie Lee Walton Jr., a step-daughter, LaDeitra Walton, two sisters; LaDena Freeman and Lucille Hoodenpile,12 grandchildren, and host of family and friends who loved him dearly.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Bishop-King Funeral Home in Lake Village, Arkansas.
