Obituary of Chase Barbee

Chase Andrew "Drew" Barbee, age 18, of Montrose died Tuesday, January 30, 2018 in an automobile accident in Montrose. Drew was born March 4, 1999 in Little Rock, AR. He is the son of Shawn Lester and LaWanda Kaye (Williams) Barbee. Drew was a hard worker who loved sports especially the Dallas Cowboys and the Razorbacks. He was employed by Jade Super Foods in Hamburg and a senior at Hamburg High School.

Drew was preceded in death by his brother, Logan Barbee, grandmother, Rita Barbee, and grandmother, Mary Williams.

He is survived by his parents, Shawn Lester and LaWanda Kaye (Williams) Barbee of Montrose; two sisters, Hailey Barbee and Harper Barbee of Montrose, two grandfathers, Charles Barbee of Montrose, and Jerry Williams of Lake Village; and a host of friends and other family. Pallbearers will be Adam Newton, Nicholas and Riley Newcome, Payton, Trace, and Sam Graham and Larry Carter.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 1 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Bishop-King Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Village. Funeral Services will be 11:00am on Friday, February 2 at Bishop-King Funeral Home in Lake Village with Bro. Larry Donaldson officiating. Burial will follow in Montrose City Cemetery under the direction of Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village, Arkansas.
