Our beloved Mrs. Christine Brady Jackson was born August 1, 1931, to her mother Azeli Pennex in Gould, AR. Mrs. Jackson, her mom, and sisters Irene and Reola Pennex resided in Gould, Arkansas for many years until she had her son Nathaniel Jackson, July 12, 1950. Christine then moves to Lake Village, Arkansas, and started working at Mike’s café as a head restaurant cook for many years. Living in Lake Village Mrs. Christine married Lonnie Brady, they owned land and family home with a large farm where she raised her two granddaughters Lorine Hampton and Christine Hudson. She continued to be married to Lonnie Brady until he died in a drowning accident. Years later Mrs. Christine married Mack Jackson Sr. and she remains married to him until he passed away. She confessed her religion to the Lord at a young age at Strangers Rest MB Church in Lake Village, Arkansas, she became an usher for the church until she became an official church mother. She continued to go to church and serve until her health started selling as she could no longer walk. That broke her heart because she loves the Lord and loves going to church praising his holy name. She was the oldest living member of the church. Mrs. Christine or “Mrs. Tina” to many was a loving, caring, good, and kind-hearted lady who everyone loved or adored. She also helped raise countless children that were not her children or grandchildren. She was always willing to help any and everyone she met that needed help or just kind God-fearing words of wisdom. Miss Christine Brady Jackson is preceded in death by her son, Nathaniel Jackson, her mother, Azeli Pennex, two sisters, Irene and Reola Pennex, first husband, Lonnie Brady, and second husband, Mack Jackson. She was blessed to have many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; Derrick White of Lake Village, Lorraine Hampton of Little Rock, Christine Mortee Hudson of Jonesboro, Stephen Manning of Little Rock, Sharon Jackson a Lake Village, Nathaniel Jackson Jr. of Lake Village, LaShawn Dixon of Little Rock, Kimberly Keith and Pookie Keys of Corinth, Mississippi and Vicky Jackson of Lake Village and a host of great-grandchildren.
