Floyd Kent Brantley, 65, lifelong resident of Lake Village died Thursday, May 19, 2022, at his home. He was born on June 16, 1956 in Hayti, MO to his parents, Robert and Patricia Lynn Brantley. Kent was a farmer and enjoyed working on guns, hunting, fishing, model airplanes, and video games. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Lakeside United Methodist Church. Kent is preceded in death by his mother Patricia Lynn Brantley. He is survived by his father Robert “Bob” Brantley; two daughters, Nikki Grafton (Jason) of Madison, MS, Shana Bellott (Matthew) of Sherwood, two sisters, Nancy Pamplin (Joey), Jennifer Brantley; and one brother, Barry Brantley all of Lake Village; three grandchildren, Davis and Anna Jase Grafton, and Kenlea Bellott; along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other family. Visitation will be held Monday, May 23rd from 10-11:00 A.M. at Bishop-King Funeral Home, with service to follow at 11:00 A.M. officiated by Bro. Tim Chennault. Burial will be in Holy Innocents Cemetery under the direction of Bishop-King Funeral Home. In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
