Obituary of Clemmie Jean Richter
Clemmie Richter, 74, of Dermott, AR died Tuesday July 10, 2018 at UAMS in Little Rock, AR. Clemmie was born June 20, 1944 in Lake Village, AR. She is the daughter of the late Clemuel and Doris Carpenter. She was the wife of the late Gene Bradley Richter of Council Grove, KS. She retired from McGehee Industries where she was a Seamstress. She was a long-time resident of Council Grove, KS and Lake Village, AR. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and had a love of gardening.
Clemmie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Marissa Stodghill, two brothers, her twin, Lemmie Dean Carpenter, and John Carpenter, four sisters, Willeen Clark, Christine Griffin, Barbara Martin, and Nina Dell Chaney.
She is survived by one son, John Bradley Richter of Dermott, AR, and three daughters, Melissa Soyring and husband Jeff of Covington, LA, Geneva Pieroni and husband Richard of Lake Village, AR, and Amanda Toth of Dermott, AR. She has eight grandchildren, Charles Mangrum, Robert Blount, Krystina Smith, Jessie Pieroni, Hannah Pieroni, Kimberly Toth, Tristin Toth, and Jace Rangel. Clemmie also had six great-grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of life will be Saturday July 14, 2018 at 2pm in the Bishop- King Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements entrusted to Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village, Arkansas.
