Obituary of Marlin Rosson

Marlin Allen Rosson, 80, of Lake Village died Sunday, August 12, 2018 at Chicot Memorial Medical Center of Lake Village, AR.  Marlin was born June 19, 1938 in Lake Village, AR. He is the son of the late Joe and Mallie Rosson.  He loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. Marlin worked for the Chicot County Road Department as a road foreman for many years. He then went into farming for forty-two years before retiring. He was a very giving and loving neighbor and enjoyed giving to all.


Marlin is preceded in death by two sister, Marnelle Hargis, and Joann Barnett.


He is survived by his wife, Charlotte (Lewis) Rosson, one son, Keith Rosson and wife Tracy, of Portland and one daughter, Kimberly Ward, of Monroe, LA, one brother, Marvin Rosson and wife Patsy, of Hermitage, AR, two sisters, Barbara Jean Hale and Cynthia Ogelive and Husband Don, of Lake Village, AR. He also has five grandchildren, Lauren Williams and husband Pierce, Parker Rosson, Brandi Cook and husband Josef, Meagan Higginbotham and husband Eric, and Bethany "Buttons" Rosson, four great-grandchildren, and a Host of Nieces, Nephews, and Friends.


Visitation will be Wednesday, August 15 from 1:00-2:00pm at Bishop-King Funeral Home Chapel with a Celebration of Life service following at 2:00 pm, with Brother Pierce Williams officiating. Arrangements are by Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village, Arkansas.
