Obituary of William Bunker Sr.

William "Bill" Whithorne Bunker Sr, age 71, of Lake Village died Saturday, October 20, 2018 at his home in Lake Village. Bill was born October 20, 1947 in Lake Village, AR to the late Nelson Waldo Bunker III and the late Betty Lou (Barger) Bunker. He married Claudia Dee Mitchell on December 17, 1967. He was a Farmer, board member of the Bank of Lake Village, and member of the Lakeside United Methodist Church, in Lake Village.

 

Proceeded in death by his parents, two brothers, Nelson Waldo Bunker IV and Jack Barger Bunker.

 

Bill is survived by his wife of 50 years, Claudia Dee (Mitchell) Bunker of Lake Village, two sons, William Whithorne Bunker Jr. and wife Monica, of San Francisco, CA and Nelson Waldo Bunker V and wife Megan, of Windsor, CO; two daughters, Eva Elizabeth Bunker of Austin, TX and Amber Dee Bunker of Lake Village, AR; one sister, Sarah Jane Farr of Guatemala City, Guatemala; six grandchildren, Madelynn Raine Bunker, Jacob Nelson Bunker, Ian William Bunker, Eleanor Griffin Bunker, Nelson Waldo Bunker VI (Neil), and twin sister Margaret June Bunker; host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

 

Visitation will be Thursday, October 25, 2018 from 4-6pm at Bishop-King Funeral Home in Lake Village, Arkansas. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, October 26, 2018 at Lakeside United Methodist Church in Lake Village, Arkansas with Rev. Buddy Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Village Cemetery in Lake Village under the direction of Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village, Arkansas.
