Obituary of Mary Lynn Wesson

Mary "Lynn" Wesson, 86, of Colorado Springs, CO, formerly of Lake Village, AR, died Saturday, January 25, 2020. Lynn was born February 27, 1933 in Schofield Barracks, HI. She is the daughter of the late John Llewellyn and Mary Lynn (Simms) Lewis and was married to John E Wesson. She graduated from the University of Arkansas with a bachelor's degree in Home Economics. Lynn was a homemaker and a member of Lake Village Baptist Church alongside her husband for many years. She loved many and was loved by all that knew her. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brothers, John B. Lewis, and Francis S. Lewis, and grandson, Kristopher Wesson. Lynn is survived by two sons, John Wesson (Wendy), Blue Grass, IA, and Neal Wesson (Laura), Norman. OK, one daughter, Julie Suchsland (Robert) of Colorado Springs, CO, eight grandchildren, Wesley Suchsland, Alyssa Windmuller, Whitney Mason, John Wesson, David Wesson, Rachel Wesson, Matthew Wesson, and Nathan Wesson, and three great- grandchildren, Maddox Mason, Jaxson Wesson, and Annie Wesson, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Visitation will be Friday, January 31, 2020, from 5-7pm at Bishop-King Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Village, AR. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 11am at Lake Village Baptist Church, 301 N. Lakeshore Drive, Lake Village, AR with burial following in Lake Village Cemetery. Arrangements are by Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Guatemala Missions Fund at Lake Village Baptist Church, 301 N. Lakeshore Drive, Lake Village, AR 71653.
