
Obituary of Cynthia June Ogelvie
Cynthia June Rosson Ogelvie, born on November 15, 1950, in Lake Village, Arkansas to Mallie Ida (McHan) Rosson and Joe Pat Rosson. Cynthia went to hold her firstborn son, Jeff, for the first time on March 11, 2020. A fierce fighter in life and love, she loved as big as she fought. And she fought as big as she loved.
She is preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Don Ogelvie; her mother, Mallie Rosson; her father, Joe Rosson; two sisters, Jo Ann Rosson Bernatt and Mary Nell Rosson Hargis; and a brother, Marlin "Buddy" Rosson.
She is survived by her ever devoted husband, Don Ogelvie of Lake Village, AR; her children, Jim and Christy Ogelvie, Dawn and Scotty McKeel, and Kelly and Darren Carmena; six grandchildren, Austin, Chandler, Trinity, James, Levi and Lillian; a sister, Barbara Hale; a brother, Marvin Rosson; two very special nieces, Carla Himes and Jennifer Hale; and a host of other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be Monday, March 16 from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m. at Bishop-King Funeral Home in Lake Village, AR with Pastor Brian Wetzler officiating. Burial will be in Lake Village Cemetery in Lake Village, AR. Arrangements are by Bishop-King Funeral Home of Lake Village, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
