We are so sorry to hear about Uncle Don’s passing. I have so many good memories of visits to Indiana listening to Uncle Don’s stories and enjoying hours of his music. He was my first introduction to country music and I still love it to this day. Once he even invited me up on stage to sing with him but I was too embarrassed. One time when he came to visit us in California, we took him up to Cooks Corner and he stole the show singing his music He sure knew how to have a good time. Love you, Uncle Don

Don was one of my dearest friends for many years. To think of him being gone is too sad. His wife Abbey is a wonderful person and my heart breaks for her. His voice my be silenced but his memory will always be with us. He cut two CD's for me. I played them for my mother while she was leaving us to go to her reward. Something I will never forget.
