Mrs. Annie Jayne Adams, 86, formerly of Lake Village, AR was called to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at Promenade Rehab and Rehabilitation in Rogers, AR. A visitation will be held Thursday, May 20th, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Bishop-King Funeral Home in Lake Village with a Celebration of Life Service immediately following. Bro. Marty Tackett will be officiating. Jayne was born September 25, 1934, to Warren Lee Hackett Sr. “Monk” and Mattie Delina (Rawson) Hackett. She married Harvey Adams on September 2, 1950. Jayne’s family founded the New Bethel Assembly of God where she played the piano every Sunday for many years. She later transferred her membership to Lake Village Assembly of God where she remained an active member before moving to North Arkansas. Everyone knew her as Aunt Jayne, and she never met a stranger. Jayne was always cleaning or having a rummage sale. She loved working outside and drinking coffee with her friends. She is preceded by her parents, Warren Lee and Mattie Hackett; husband, Harvey Adams; brothers, Warren Lee Hackett Jr. “Dub”, John Thomas Hackett “Tebow”, and her twin Billy Wayne Hackett; brother-n-law, Calvin Adams; and sister-n-law, Juanita Monzingo. Jayne is survived by her son, Larry Wayne Adams (Margoth) of Cave Springs, AR; granddaughters, Monica Nelson (Danny) of Tontitown, AR and Bethany Foster (Zack) of Cave City, AR; great-grandchildren, Annabelle Nelson, Parker Foster, Warren Nelson, Paxton Foster, and Liam Nelson; nephew, Wayne Hackett; nieces, Donna Clifton, Linda Fairchild, Judy Green, Peggy Miller, and Barbara Cimmarusti; along with a host of great-nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to Judy Green and Peggy Miller for helping take care of her. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Lake Village Assembly of God Church, 150 Lynn St, Lake Village, AR 71653.
