Linda Diane Tyler, who loved to be called "Granny" by her grans and "Ma" by her children, departed from her loving family on August 12,2021. Linda was loved so very much by her family and friends. She made a big impression on everyone she met in her life. Linda Diane Tyler was and still is "EVERYTHING" to her children. The love Linda showed all of us and the unconditional love she had for her grans will forever be in our hearts. We Love You Ma Linda Diane Tyler was born on August 19, 1956 to Mr. John Henderson Tyler and Mrs. Cora Lee Tyler in Lake Village, AR. Linda grew up in a loving and caring family. She was the third oldest of four siblings. Linda always expressed the love and beautiful memories she had growing up. She was baptized at five years old at Christian Liberty Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. C Miller. Linda was a faithful member of her church home. Linda graduated Lakeside High in 1974. After graduating she joined the U.S. Army on August 23, 1974. She served three amazing years as she always described to us. Linda received the Good Conduct Medal while serving and she was honorably discharged on August 22, 1977. Linda came back to her hometown of Lake Village and began her career as a manager of Exxon, Double Quick, and Dollar General. Linda met many people along the way and was well respected and love. We know by the calls, texts and kind words so many have shown us. Linda is survived by her three children; two daughters; Katrina (Chico) Childs and Sylvia Moseley both of Conway, AR and one son Terrence (LaKia) Tyler; one loving sister Sylvia (Carl) Young; one special daughter-in-law LaKia Tyler; a special son-in-law Chico Childs. A special sister Pat Jackson-Jones. Linda was "Granny" to fifteen grans; Lil Linda, Alicia "Woesha" , Jada, Amaiyah, Tyler, Alizia, Kaziyah, Kylee, Shirley, Ke'Ariyah, E'lye, Tycere, Sarai, Chico Jr., and Cora her "honeybun" and one great gran "Spooky". Linda was Auntie to three nieces ; Linda, Bridgett( Quintus), Kristie, four nephews; Lil Carl, Lil John(Ramona), Quincy, Eric(Tomekia). Linda was preceded in death by her parents Mr. John Henderson Tyler and Mrs. Cora Lee Tyler. Her two brothers; John Henderson Tyler II and Emmett Lee Tyler. Linda had a lot of special people she held dear and loved. She had friends she talked with often and considered her "best" friends; Alleaner Smith and Bridgett Reed. She had a special love for her "Pumpkin" Uniece Jackson "fat butt" she called her, and her "Bubba" Dexter Taylor. She loved them all in her special way. Her funeral service will be on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Central Community Church at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at New Cemetery in Lake Village, Arkansas. Arrangements are by Bishop-King funeral home.
