Obituary of Strobel Paul Boatner
Strobel “Paul” Boatner, 54, of Lake Village formerly of Clinton, MS, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022, at his home. He was born on July 16, 1967, in Vicksburg, MS to his parents, Paul and Mary Cawley Boatner. Paul was of the Baptist faith and a member of Oak Grove Freewill Baptist Church. Paul enjoyed playing the guitar, doing leatherwork, and telling funny jokes. He was a caring family man who loved others.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Paul is survived by his wife of 11 years, Sheila Martar Boatner; a son, Robert Jessup Boatner of Pearl, MS; stepdaughter, Amanda Brown of Lake Village; two sisters, Madonna Wright (Dewey) of Satartia MS, and Amanda Gail Capps of Pearl, MS; two nephews, Aaron and Adrian Brown of North Carolina; and one niece, Nicole Sloan of Stringer, MS; and his beloved cat Mittens.
