Obituary of Donald Lee Lunsford

Donald Lee Lunsford, 79, of Eudora passed away on May 18, 2022, at his home. He was born on June 13, 1942, in McGehee, AR to his parents, Wilson and Lucille Lane Lunsford. Donald was a truck driver, and in his spare time enjoyed watching the Arkansas Razorbacks, mowing, and working on tractors. He was a loving and caring family man who will be missed dearly. He is preceded in death by his parents. Donald is survived by his wife of 20 years, Jean Williams Lunsford; two daughters, Sharon McEwen (Grover) of Pine Bluff, AR, Donna Malone (Matt) of Redfield, AR; one sister, Janette Mingee (Wayne) of Texas; four grandchildren, Tarrell McEwen, Laura McEwen, Matthew Malone, and Rhyan Malone; five great-grandchildren; a stepson, Jimmy “J Ray” Ray Wright; and life long friend, Willie Smith. The family would like to give a special thank you to the love and care they received from Brianna Hernandez, Ronia Young, and Sharron James. Visitation will be held on Friday, May 20th from 6-8 p.m. at Bishop-King Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 21st at Bishop-King Funeral Home, with Bro. Brian Standridge officiating, followed by interment at 3:00 P.M. at Union Grove Cemetery in Hampton, under the direction of Bishop-King Funeral Home. Pallbearers are Tarrell McEwen, Matt Malone, Brian Johnson, Jimmy Pennington, Wayne Bates, and Jeremy “Hub” Duncan. In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Home Care of Monticello.
